Mission
The Helping Paws Foundation helps keep military families united with their pets by providing low and no-cost veterinary care for troops and veterans in need. Without our 501(c)(3), a lot of vets would face the heartbreaking decision of premature relinquishment, or worse yet, economic euthanasia.
Vision
Our troops are willing to pay the ultimate price, but all too often, they can’t afford costly veterinary bills. We aim to remove financial barriers, so military families never have to give up or put down a pet because of money. Our hope is to expand across America.
about us
The San Diego area has the largest concentration of Military in the world, and many battle to make it financially. By removing financial burdens, we empower troops and veterans to make healthy choices for their pets.
Since 2013, we have directly helped more than 2,600 military pets. Our service members sacrifice so much, so it's an honor for us to give back.
Local troops count on Helping Paws, but our resources are limited. We need your support to continue Helping Vets by Saving Pets.
